Had an AMAZING time in Nashville with my sister, brother in law, and all 5 kids...
There's something about that place that gives peace to my soul.
I know God is everywhere, but I FEEL Him everywhere in good ol' Van Leer, Ten. The green trees, beautiful fields, blue skies with wonderful cloud. I love the beauty of God's creation.

What an amazing God we have.

August already???

Wow! Time sure did fly by... I'm leaving in a few hours for a weekend trip to Nashville, Tenn. Looking forward to no cell phone, books, reading, spending time with my sister, milking a cow and reveling in the beauty of my Creator.

Tuesday will find me, along with my parents and Brock's parents, flying to St. Louis and then driving to Ft. Leonard Wood, MO.
Wednesday we get to visit the base and see Brock for family and friends day.
Thursday is his graduation in the morning. We are then staying in St. Louis for a couple days and heading back to Orange County, CA on Saturday!
Thank you JESUS for getting both of us through these past 5 months of separation. See you when i get back OC, CA!

brock update

brock just called for a few minuets and asked for prayer for a couple things:
-his battle buddy Soto (from Phx, AZ) is being deployed for 15mo in September. this is really hard for him! he will only have about 2 weeks between training & being deployed.
-brock is sick! has a cough and "stuff"
-is platoon leader again for their field exercises in a week (5 days out in the middle of no where doing "stuff")

20 days to go!!!

...meeting my parents & in-laws in St. Louis for Brock's graduation
