Funny Kids...

Last night i was babysitting two of my favorite boys, Trev & Drew. While i love watching these guys and they are so much fun, they keep me on my toes! Between their high energy and and racing minds, I'm not sure if i will be running after them to keep up, or staying one step ahead of their questions =)

Anyway, last night they kept me in stitches!
While playing market (exchanging guns for dinosaurs, and dinosaurs for star wars items, etc...) Trevor is in the corner marketing his Star Wars figures...: "WOW, come get your Jab the Huts! Lots of Star Wars items over here! My market is BLOOMING!"
Me: "Blooming Trev?"
T: "Yeah, BLOOMING! You know, it's getting bigger?"
Me: "OH! You mean BOOMING?"
T (rolling his eyes & sighing loudly): "No Auntie! BLOOMING. MY MARKET IS BLOOMING!"
---gotta love kids! Booming! BLooming?! ---

As were walking out the door, Drew decided he should hold the money for dinner.
Me: "keep that money safe in your pocket!"
Drew: "I know Auntie. i will keep it safe. People will probably want to take my money from me cause they don't have any."
Me: "Yeah.... they might. But just don't tell anyone you have it, and i think you will be ok. Just make sure it doesn't fall out!"
D (still thinking he will be attacked by someone for his money): "Hmmm... what should i do? Good think i know Karate. I will punch them like this..."
---ahhh, boys!---

Fall is here...I think?

Fall Is Here!

I think fall is here... but I'm not really sure.

There was rain, and cold nights, frost on the windshield, wind, and hot chocolate...
Hockey, Football, Election Debates, the end of Baseball...
Pumpkin Patches, Christmas Decorations, Thanksgiving menu planning...

But then there is also...
The 90* weather, DAY and NIGHT, shorts and tank tops...
BBQs, swimming in the pool, Iced Coffee...

------------------

But whatever the weather, i am so excited for the onset of fall!
-Apple Picking @ Oak Glen
-There is the Un-Halloween at our Church that is still exciting (even tho I'm 22!) and this year i am determined to win a cake at the cake walk!
-Pie Making & Bread Baking
-Thanksgiving Menu planing & eating (I'm not sure what's better, the planing & anticipation or the actual eating?)
-Tree Lighting in Old Towne Orange
-Christmas parties, Christmas cookie making, Baking, Christmas music, Christmas trees, Christmas decorations & lights, Christmas shopping! JUST CHRISTMAS!
-New Years Eve, New Years!

I just LOVE this time of year!
